Dr Balaji Jayaprakash

CHAIR, CAF

Prof. Balaji Jayaprakash serves as the Chair of the Central Animal Facility (CAF) at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru. In addition to overseeing department operations and ongoing institutional research programs, he coordinates advanced training initiatives such as the Career Advancement Programs in laboratory animal research. His administrative and academic leadership helps facilitate specialized, hands-on instruction and adherence to ethical research practices for scientists, scholars, and medical professionals.

  • Prerequisites (if any): Requesting a letter from PI stating how the training is relevant to participants
  • All the participants have to bring a certificate from their HOD justifying why this training is relevant for them
