About CDC
Curriculum development cell
- The Curriculum Development Cell (CDC) was sponsored by the AICTE and started operating in 1979
- Coordinated by the Centre for Continuing Education (CCE), the CDC's mandate and primary activities encompass the following:
- Resource Creation: Writing books, preparing laboratory manuals, and developing demonstration units and audio-visual aids
- Curriculum Management: Developing and updating the curriculum specifically for postgraduate education in engineering
- Educational Technology: Undertaking developments, as well as conducting workshops and seminars, related to Educational Technology
- Assessments: Developing evaluation procedures and creating materials for examination forms
- Specialized Training: Conducting short-duration programs for teachers, and providing technical education and vocational training for handicapped persons
