He is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru. His research interests include Power Systems, Smart Grids, and Renewable Energy. He received his PhD from the University of Western Ontario, Canada, and his M.Sc. (Engg.) in Power Systems from IISc.
